MY EXPLANATION OF MUSIC TO ME

To me. I’m going to try to explain what music is, to me. You may find something here that is similar to you as well.

Music is more than one thing to me, or does more than one thing. Music resonates memories, either conversations, feelings, people, dreams, that kind of thing. And I think that bond I have with the music is very special, even though sometimes that bond get’s ruined. Which is a very sad situation, and I always try my best to remember our origins.

Another thing, music is a gorgeous art-form. It’s my favorite form of art for plenty of reasons, but my main reasoning goes behind this. Music is art, but it also creates another art inside my head. Similar to literature but with sound instead of story telling. Music which I prefer cause the sounds tend to tell their own story. I don’t know if it’s just me, or everyone, but you should consider yourself very lucky if you get it too. It’s what I think a lot of people are missing, and I know when people are getting close to it if they have not found it already. You can tell when they talk about their favorite composer/song.

I am also a musician, and I think understanding the language behind the sound really allows me to appreciate the music in a much different way than a non-musician. So if you read this far. Maybe you find something similar in the way we think, or maybe we are perfect opposites. I just know that, I am absolutely in love with my music tastes, and I wouldn’t change or wish for anything different. And I hope you feel the same about yourself, and if not then maybe it’s something you might want to put time into to research. Cause in the end, trust me, you will not regret it, and if you do. I will personally give you my address so you can come and slap me or kill me whatever you want to do. Peace out homie.
